There are peculiar challenges for everyone concerned with the forthcoming British and Irish Lions tour to Australia. Some of these are common to all such series and some will be specific to this particular iteration.

In a matter of a few weeks the players and coaches have to meld the playing styles and cultural ethoses of four different countries into a cohesive unit that is more than the sum of its parts.
