Over 40,000 homes without power as low temperature and ice warning still in place
Around 41,000 ESB customers are still without power this morning.
Homes, farms and businesses in Cork, Kerry, Limerick, Tipperary, Kilkenny, Carlow, Laois and Wicklow are worst-affected.
Heavy snow hit some parts on Sunday, with a status yellow warning for low temperatures and ice still in place for the entire country until Thursday.
