Conor McGregor’s Dublin press conference to promote UFC 303 called off at late notice
Today’s scheduled press conference for UFC 303, which will feature Conor McGregor’s first competitive fight in almost three years, has been cancelled.
No reason for the cancellation was given, although the UFC have indicated the event will go ahead at a future date, to be confirmed.
An email from the UFC to accredited media at 5am this morning, followed by a short social media statement, confirmed the late postponement.
It read: “The #UFC303 press conference scheduled for Monday June 3rd in Dublin, Ireland at 3Arena has been postponed until further notice. We sincerely apologize to all the fans who were planning to attend. When we have further information on a new date and time, we will share it immediately. Thank you.”
The event, which was scheduled for 5.0 this evening in Dublin’s Three Arena, was due to be the first time McGregor and Michael Chandler would came face-to-face since the announcement of their fight.
