Man (20s) hospitalised after shooting in Dublin

A man has been hospitalised after a shooting in Clondalkin, Dublin 22 last night.
The man was injured after shots were fired at a house.
The man in his 20s was rushed to hospital to receive medical treatment. His injuries have been described as not life-threatening.
“Gardaí responded to reports of a discharge of a firearm that occurred at a residence in Clondalkin, Dublin 22 at approximately 9.15pm on Friday, December 20,” a Garda spokesperson said.
“A man (20s) was subsequently taken to hospital to receive medical treatment. His injuries are not life-threatening.”
The spokesperson added that scene was examined by local Scenes of Crime during the night.
“No arrests have been made at this time,” gardaí added.
“Investigations are ongoing.”
