A former solicitor who was struck off for professional misconduct has had €1.7m in debt written off by a court under a personal insolvency arrangement (PIA).
Paul Lambert (53), who now works as an analyst for an insurance company, was left with debts of €1.8m after being forced to sell off a substantial property portfolio when values crashed in the 2000s.
