Fine Gael has seen a drop in popularity with less than one week to go before the general election, according to the latest poll of polls.
Simon Harris’s party still retains the most public support at just under 23 per cent, ahead of rivals in Fianna Fáil (21 per cent) and Sinn Féin (19 per cent).
Support for Independent candidates, including new party Independent Ireland, has climbed throughout the election campaign to now stand at 20 per cent.
