Mark Kelly (38) was charged with carrying out two separate burglaries at a midlands hotel within 15 minutes of each other.

A chronic heroin and crack cocaine addict accused of breaking into a midlands hotel twice within the space of 15 minutes while also carrying out 10 raids on businesses in a drug-fuelled crime spree, has been denied bail.

Mark Kelly (38) of 4 Camlin Mews, Longford came before a sitting of Mullingar District Court charged with two counts of burglary at the Longford Arms Hotel and a further ten thefts from three different retail outlets in the midlands town.
