Two police officers injured after car rammed in 'deliberate collision'

Two police officers have been injured after their car was rammed in Co Armagh.

The PSNI are appealing for information about what they have described as a “deliberate collision” in Middletown on Monday afternoon.

“Officers on patrol in the Monaghan Road area at around 2.40pm signalled to a grey Audi A6 to stop; however the vehicle made off in the direction of Armagh, colliding with a pillar as it did so,” a police spokesperson said.

“Nearby, the Audi was then deliberately reversed into the police vehicle twice, causing significant damage, which meant that the vehicle could not be driven further.
